These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GotaGuy service operated by Kerzie AI Solutions ("we," "us," or "our"), including the gotaguymckinney.com website and our SMS-based home repair service. By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

GotaGuy is an SMS-based service that connects homeowners in McKinney and Collin County, TX with local contractors for home repair and maintenance jobs. We coordinate the scoping, quoting, scheduling, and payment for repair work performed by independent contractors.

If you are a contractor joining the GotaGuy network, please review our separate Contractor Terms of Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and located in our service area to use GotaGuy. By using our service you represent that you have the authority to authorize repairs at the property in question.

SMS Consent and Communication

By texting GotaGuy at +1 (469) 273-6216, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from us. These messages include:

Message frequency varies based on your service request. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out you will receive no further messages. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out may prevent us from completing your service request.

Pricing and Payment

We provide a price range estimate before any work begins. You must agree to the quoted range before we dispatch a contractor. The final price is confirmed by the contractor after assessing the job on site but will fall within or near the quoted range.

Payment is collected only after the work is completed and you confirm satisfaction. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We charge a service fee that is included in the quoted price.

Contractors

Contractors matched through GotaGuy are independent professionals, not employees of GotaGuy or Kerzie AI Solutions. GotaGuy is a marketplace platform that facilitates connections between homeowners and contractors. We are not a contracting company and we do not perform any repair work ourselves.

Contractors are responsible for holding all licenses, certifications, and permits required by applicable law for the work they perform. While we screen contractors before adding them to our network, we do not guarantee or warrant the quality, safety, or outcome of any work performed.

Any disputes about work quality should be reported to us immediately by texting our number. We will work to facilitate resolution but ultimate responsibility for workmanship rests with the contractor.

Cancellations

You may cancel a service request at any time before a contractor arrives on site by texting us. There is no charge for cancellations. Once work has begun, you are responsible for payment for work completed.

Limitation of Liability

GotaGuy acts as a coordination service connecting homeowners with independent contractors. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of any repair work performed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the service fees we collected for the specific job in question.

Service Area

GotaGuy currently serves McKinney, Allen, Plano, Frisco, Prosper, Celina, Wylie, and surrounding areas in Collin County, TX. We may not be able to fulfill requests outside this area.

Privacy

Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our service shall be resolved in the courts of Collin County, Texas.
